Like the Old Days

Well, I was feeling some poetry coming on in my room late one night after and In 'N Out burger had "worked its magic" on my sleep abilities and while listening to Golfdinger. I don't know who would be right singing this (maybe me, but this experience hasn't happened to me, so I don't know if I'd be the right one)

Verse 1
(to chorus)
As I sit here musing over what I've done
I remember bad times but also the fun
Also I remember you were always there
With me, Life's roller coaster seat you would share
ChorusWe could adapt to the changing weather
We were so happy being together
Sadly now the good times have gone away
And all of my trouble is here to stay
Verse 2
(to chorus)
I sit and wish that you are back with me
And I know you've said it is not meant to be
I just can't stop thinking about us again
And how much I'd cherish being your boyfriend
Verse 3Now I can see you every so often
I can see your heart beginning to soften
Even though you think I'm strung out on dope
